Tesla’s latest project includes a self-driving semi-truck that can follow a designated vehicle. The prototype is expected to be tested next month in Nevada. The most interesting detail about this prototype is that the trucks can follow behind a leading vehicle, forming a caravan. This would allow for one human driver to lead while various autonomous trucks would follow behind. However, many people believe that electric trucks will not have enough power to carry heavy loads.
